1. Who you are agreeing with
nanoMani (nanomani.com) is owned and operated by Saptarang Ventures (OPC) Private Limited, CIN U43900MH2023OPC413456, registered office C-102, Acropolis Apartments, Thatte Nagar, Nashik 422005, India. Corporate particulars: saptarang.net.
2. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using nanoMani (nanomani.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
3. Description of Service
nanoMani is an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of nanotechnology products, including nanomaterials, laboratory equipment, chemicals, reagents, and consumables. We act as a technology platform facilitating transactions; we are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller.
4. Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.
5. Seller Terms
Sellers must:
- Apply for seller status and receive approval from nanoMani administrators.
- List only products they own, manufacture, or are authorised to sell.
- Ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate and not misleading.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including export control regulations for chemical and nanotechnology products.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and fulfil orders in a timely manner.
- Not list prohibited items (see Section 8).
nanoMani reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove product listings and to suspend or terminate seller accounts for violations.
6. Buyer Terms
- Orders placed constitute a binding offer to purchase.
- Payment is processed at checkout via Cashfree Payments, PayU, or PayPal, depending on the method available when you place the order.
- Buyers are responsible for ensuring they are legally permitted to purchase and import the ordered products in their jurisdiction.
- Disputes with sellers should first be raised through our support channel.
7. Pricing and Payments
- Catalogue prices are displayed in USD and are shown exclusive of tax and shipping. Checkout charges for the goods only. Shipping and any applicable tax are quoted by the seller against your delivery address and the consignment itself, and invoiced separately before dispatch — see our Shipping Policy. The amount shown as due at checkout is the amount charged at checkout.
- Where payment is taken in a currency other than USD (Cashfree and PayU settle in INR), the amount charged is converted at the rate in force when the order is placed, and both the currency and the converted amount are shown before you confirm.
- nanoMani charges sellers a commission on completed orders. The rate depends on the seller's plan and is published on our pricing page; a negotiated rate may be agreed in writing instead. The rate in force when an order is placed is recorded on that order and does not change afterwards, and no rate is ever applied retrospectively to an order placed before it was published. Commission is charged against the seller's share of the order and is not added to what the buyer pays.
- Settlement to sellers is not automated. Payments are received into nanoMani's payment-gateway accounts and each order is reconciled and remitted to the seller directly, on terms agreed in writing beforehand. There is no connected-account or rolling-payout arrangement, and none is implied.
- Memberships are sold for a fixed period and do not renew automatically. There is no recurring billing. A membership grants access to material published for that tier for as long as it is live; items bought outright remain available after it lapses.
- Digital items. A seller listing a file warrants that they hold the rights to distribute it. Reports, datasets and documents produced under a grant, a contract or an employment often belong to the funder or the institution rather than the author — listing such material without that right is a breach of these terms and the listing will be removed. Digital purchases are non-refundable once downloaded, except where the file is not what the listing described.
- Refunds are processed at our discretion or as required by applicable law.
8. Prohibited Items and Conduct
The following are prohibited on nanoMani:
- Hazardous materials not compliant with applicable shipping and safety regulations
- Controlled substances without proper licensing
- Counterfeit or misrepresented products
- Items that infringe intellectual property rights
- Any listing or activity that violates applicable laws
- Manipulating ratings, reviews, or search rankings
- Scraping, spamming, or conducting denial-of-service attacks
9. Intellectual Property
The nanoMani platform, logo, and all associated content are the intellectual property of nanoMani and its licensors. Sellers retain ownership of their product content but grant nanoMani a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
nanoMani provides the marketplace "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant the accuracy of product listings, seller claims, or the quality of products.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, nanoMani's liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, in the courts of Nashik, Maharashtra, where Saptarang Ventures (OPC) Private Limited is registered.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice with at least 14 days' advance notice.
