Listings carry the supplier's own specification fields rather than a summary written by us. What you read is what you can quote when a reviewer asks which grade was used.

Request documentation before committing
COAs and SDS are obtained from the supplier on request — they are not hosted here. For work where the batch matters, ask what batch-level documentation the supplier can provide before the purchase order, not after delivery.

Order against the right address
Keep separate delivery addresses for the lab, the stores and the department and choose per order. Every order keeps its own record with line items, prices and status.

Settle carriage and tax with the supplier
Checkout takes the goods total. Shipping and any applicable tax are quoted by the supplier against the real consignment and invoiced separately, which is also the point at which dangerous-goods handling gets priced honestly.

There is no purchase-order workflow in the application. Institutions that must buy on a PO are handled by email — slower to set up, but a real arrangement rather than a button that generates an invoice nobody accepts.

Storefronts and order history make repeat purchasing from the same supplier straightforward, which is the practical half of reproducibility. Batch-to-batch consistency itself is the supplier's to demonstrate — ask them how.

Custom synthesis, testing and consultation are brokered by enquiry. There is no partner-lab booking system and no quoted turnaround, because there is no measured turnaround to quote.

Can we buy on a purchase order or against an invoice?
Not through checkout, which takes card payment via PayPal or Cashfree. Institutions that require PO-based purchasing should write to admin@nanomani.com before ordering so the arrangement can be set up with the supplier directly. This is a manual process today and is described that way deliberately.
Are certificates of analysis provided?
By request from the supplier, not as a download from the listing — there is no document store on the site. For work where the certificate is part of the record, obtain it before purchase and keep it with your own data.
Does nanoMani offer characterisation or testing?
As an enquiry service only. Describe the sample and the technique you need and we will put you in touch with somebody who can do it. There are no certified partner laboratories on retainer and no advertised turnaround — earlier versions of this page claimed both, and neither was true.
Can we commission custom synthesis?
Yes, by introduction. Send the specification — size, surface chemistry, functionalisation, quantity — and we will approach suppliers who can produce it. The agreement that follows is between you and the synthesis lab.
Do you provide REACH, RoHS or TSCA documentation?
nanoMani does not produce regulatory documentation. Where a supplier holds it, we will ask them for it on your behalf. Any earlier statement that this was a service nanoMani performs was wrong.
How do you ensure batch-to-batch consistency?
We do not test it, and no marketplace that tells you otherwise is testing it either. What we do is approve sellers by hand and keep the record of what you bought and from whom, so a change between batches is traceable to a supplier and a date. Consistency itself is a question to put to the supplier, with the COA as evidence.
Can several people in one group order?
Yes — each person has their own account with their own order history, and each account can hold several delivery addresses. There is no shared team billing view; consolidated reporting is done from the individual order records.
What is the fastest way to source something that is not listed?
Email admin@nanomani.com with the specification and quantity. A named request from a real lab is the most useful thing this marketplace can receive while its catalogue is still being built, and it is answered by a person rather than routed into a ticket queue.
