2. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our B2B and B2C marketplace for nanotechnology products.

3.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored as a bcrypt hash)
- Profile information: company name, bio, website, tax ID (for sellers)
- Address information: shipping and billing addresses
- Order information: products ordered, quantities, prices, shipping details
- Reviews and ratings submitted for products
- Communications: messages sent to our support team
3.2 Automatically Collected Information
- IP address, browser type, device identifiers
- Pages visited, time spent, clickstream data
- Cookies and session tokens (see Section 6)
3.3 Third-Party Information
If you register via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google, subject to their Privacy Policy.

- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

5. Information Sharing
We share your information only with:
- Sellers: Your shipping address and order details are shared with the seller who fulfills your order.
- Payment processors: Cashfree Payments, PayU, and PayPal process payment card data, depending on the method available at checkout. We never store full card numbers.
- Email service: Automated messages (order confirmations, address verification, password resets) are sent by Cloudflare Email Sending from noreply@nanomani.com. Correspondence with a person at nanoMani goes through Migadu, from admin@nanomani.com, which is also where replies to automated mail are delivered.
- Hosting and storage: Cloudflare hosts the platform, its database and the product images uploaded by sellers.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Order records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time; some data may be retained to comply with legal obligations.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the platform, including secure HTTP-only JWT session tokens to keep you logged in and CSRF tokens to protect form submissions. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your browsing data.
