Create an account and apply
Register as a buyer first — the seller application lives inside your account. Tell us the company, what you make or distribute, and where to verify you. Applications are read by a person, not scored by a machine.

We review by hand, and email you either way
Two to three business days, which is what /sell and the application form both say and is a target a person can actually hold to. It is a human decision on a real application — you hear back by email whether the answer is yes or no.

Set up your storefront
Once approved you get a public page carrying your company name, logo, description, a link to your own website, and your full catalogue. It is a real page a buyer can be sent to, and it works while you are asleep.

List products — one at a time or by CSV
Add listings individually with images, price, stock, unit and as many specification fields as the material deserves, or download the CSV template and upload the catalogue in one go. Each listing is approved by an admin before it goes live.

Take orders, quote carriage, ship
Orders appear in your dashboard with the buyer's delivery address and line items. You quote shipping and any applicable tax against the real consignment and invoice them separately, then ship and add the tracking number. Stock decrements automatically, and you get an email when a line runs low.

Bulk CSV catalogue upload
Download the template, fill it with your catalogue, upload it once. Rows are validated and errors reported per row, so a malformed price does not take down the import.
Stock tracking with low-stock email
Stock is decremented as orders are placed, and an email reaches you automatically when a product falls to a level worth restocking. Nothing to check daily.
Revenue and order analytics
Order counts, daily trend and your best-performing listings, with the commission shown as its own line so the figure you see is what you are actually owed rather than what passed through the checkout.
Your own coupon codes
Create percentage or fixed-value codes with usage limits and expiry dates, for a bulk buyer, a repeat customer or a launch. The discount is re-derived and clamped on our server, so a code cannot be abused into a negative order.
A curated marketplace, not an open one
Every seller is approved and every listing is reviewed. You are not competing with anonymous resellers relabelling somebody else's powder, and the buyer knows it.

What does it cost to sell here?
A commission on completed orders, and nothing else — no listing fee, no monthly charge, no cost to apply. The rate depends on your plan and every rate is published on the pricing page rather than quoted in a sales conversation. It is charged against your share of the order, not added to what the buyer pays, and the rate in force when an order is placed is recorded on that order and never changes afterwards.
How and when do I get paid?
By arrangement, and this is worth reading carefully before you list. The commission is calculated and recorded automatically on every order — you can see it on each line in your dashboard — but the money itself is not split automatically. The gateways settle to nanoMani's merchant accounts and each order is reconciled and remitted to you directly, on terms agreed in writing beforehand. There are no connected accounts and no rolling settlement. If automatic payout is a condition of you selling here, say so now rather than after your first order.
How long does approval take?
Two to three business days. nanoMani is small and run by its founder, so you are not sitting in a queue of thousands — but you are waiting on a person reading your application rather than on an algorithm scoring it. You are emailed the decision either way.
What can I list?
Nanomaterials — carbon nanotubes, graphene, quantum dots, metal and ceramic nanoparticles, fullerenes and the rest — plus laboratory and characterisation equipment, chemicals and reagents, and consumables. Anything outside nanotechnology is declined, which is the point of a specialist marketplace.
Do I quote shipping myself?
Yes. Checkout collects the price of the goods only, and you price carriage against the actual destination and consignment, then invoice it with any applicable tax before dispatch. There is no flat platform shipping rate to work around — a single figure could never cover both a vial sent domestically and a drum crossing a border under dangerous-goods rules.
Can buyers message me through the site?
Not yet — there is no messaging system, and pretending otherwise would cost you enquiries. Your storefront carries a link to your own website, and anything routed through us reaches you by email. Contact details on the listing itself are the practical answer until on-platform messaging exists.
What happens if a listing is rejected?
You are told why, and you can correct it and resubmit. The usual reasons are a specification too thin to be useful to a buyer, a category that is not nanotechnology, or a price that looks like a data-entry error.
Can I pause a listing without deleting it?
Yes. Unpublish it from your dashboard and it disappears from the catalogue while keeping its images, specifications and history. Republish when the stock is back.
Do I need my own website to sell here?
No. Your storefront is a complete public page on its own. If you do have a site, it is linked from your storefront, and a buyer who wants your full technical library can go there.
