How long does seller approval take?
Most seller applications are reviewed within one to two business days. Approval depends on providing complete and accurate business information. Applications with missing documentation may take longer. You'll receive an email notification when your status changes.
What types of products can I sell on NanoMani?
NanoMani is a specialist nanotechnology marketplace. Accepted product categories include nanomaterials (carbon nanotubes, graphene, quantum dots, metal nanoparticles, fullerenes, etc.), lab equipment, characterization instruments, chemicals and reagents, and consumables and supplies. Products outside these categories are not approved.
What are the fees for selling on NanoMani?
NanoMani operates on a commission model — a percentage of each completed order. There are no upfront listing fees or monthly subscription charges. Exact commission rates are communicated during the seller onboarding process and confirmed in your seller agreement.
How and when do I get paid?
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. Funds from completed orders are settled to your connected bank account on a rolling basis after a standard hold period to account for returns. Detailed settlement timelines are documented in your seller dashboard.
How do I upload multiple products at once?
Use the Bulk CSV Import feature in your seller dashboard. Download the CSV template, fill in your product data following the column format, and upload the file. The system validates each row and flags errors before importing. Hundreds of products can be live within minutes.
Can I offer custom synthesis or OEM products?
Yes. You can describe custom synthesis capabilities in your product listings and seller profile. Buyers interested in bespoke specifications can contact you directly through the platform to discuss requirements before placing a custom order.
How do I handle a return or buyer dispute?
Return requests are initiated by buyers through their account dashboard. You'll receive a notification and can accept or contest the request. NanoMani's support team mediates disputes that cannot be resolved between buyer and seller. All sellers agree to the platform's return policy as a condition of approval.
Can I set different prices for bulk buyers?
Yes. You can structure product listings with volume pricing notes in the description, and create coupon codes with fixed or percentage discounts for specific buyers or bulk order thresholds. Direct negotiation for large OEM orders is also supported via messaging.
What happens if my product listing is rejected?
If a listing is rejected during admin review, you'll receive a notification with the reason. Common reasons include incomplete specifications, missing COAs, prohibited product categories, or pricing anomalies. You can correct the issue and resubmit for review.
Can I temporarily pause my listings?
Yes. You can unpublish any product listing from your seller dashboard at any time, making it invisible to buyers without permanently deleting it. This is useful for stock-outs, pricing updates, or seasonal unavailability.
